Bacon ssamjang (sauce for leaf-wrapped rice?)

by NickNuma 2019. 9. 9.

It is a sauce used when we eat rice and condiments wrapped in leaves of lettuce.
I don't know if you can understand what I wanna say. haha.

Anyway, you can use this sauce, when you eat leaf vegetable or just some meat.

Also, you can eat rice with this sauce, can mix this sauce and rice and eat together.

Ingredient

Doenjang (soybean paste) / 2 spoons

Gochujang (red pepper paste) / 2 spoons

Red pepper powder / 1 spoon

Bacon ( or you can use 'Tuna can' ),

Leek ( spring onion ),

Onion,

Sugar / 1 spoon

Garlic / 1 sppon

1. Cut some ingredient, Onion, Bacon, Leek.

I used 3 slices of Bacon and 1 Onion, a handful of Leek.

2. Mince garlic

If you have some machine to mine garlic, but if you don't, you can use your knife.

2-1 Put a garlic on your cutting board

2-2 Use a side of your knife

2-3 Press! Push!

2-4 Ta-da~!

3. Fry Bacon

It's to draw oil out of bacon. we need the oil to make Leek oil.

4. Add little oil

I thought oil from the bacon is not enough. So, I added oil more. ( 1 spoon )

5. Fry Leek

6. Fry Onion

7. Put Doenjang and Gochujang, each 2 spoons

8. Pour water, 1/2 cup

9. Add Red pepper powder and garlic, each 1 spoon

10. Add Sugar / 1 spoon

Though I used powdered sugar, It's because I don't have normal one. you can use normal sugar.
I guess it's better. ha.

11. Done~

You can use this sauce, when you eat leaf vegetable or just some meat.
Or just mix this sauce on your rice and eat together.

Hope this sauce is useful to you!
